    I was searching for replies to FAQs on Travelling Allowance Rules for Central Govt. Employees but could not find anywhere. Can I know where to find the same?
    In fact I am to know whether Local mileage expenditure for Travel from Office/Residence to Railway Station etc. is covered within the Daily admissible amount of Rs. 150/- (as per Grade Pay rate) or it is a separate element. In my view, it should be separate while my office does not agree to me.
    Kindly clarify for my knowledge and guidance.

    Since when The L.T.C. (Home Town) was introduced and the orders there of?

    If home town was not declared at the time of entry/joining of service or within six months of joining than how he can declare his/her home town after expiry of six months?

    I want to know the promotion rules in central govt as my promotion has fall short of just one day because of retirement on the previouus day of scheduled promotion date, what can i do and whom to approaach since it is after years of service that my promtion was due but not granted so far?
